What is in a name?
Our name, Piu Piu, is a joyful tribute to the abundant birdlife on the beautiful island of Mauritius. Derived from the melodic sound of their tweets, Piu Piu captures the lively spirit of these feathered creatures, filling the air with their vibrant calls. Inspired by the kaleidoscope of colors adorning these delightful birds, each of our collections is named after a bird species that call Mauritius their home. We set out to encapsulate the same captivating beauty within every bag we create. The little fella in the picture is a bright red Fody, after which our Fody and Fody racer bags are named.
